Meaning Of Blogging

So many different people use the internet and some of them cannot tell the difference between real and fake information. When this information starts bleeding together, rumors are spread wildly- especially by electronic mail, causing scandalous results. When blogging- there are certain rules of etiquette to follow. Here is a list of rules to think about when you look into a blog builder and start thinking about creating your own business blogs or personal blog.

1.When responding to another person’s blog, don’t aggressively promote your own blog in hopes to get attention. Especially if you are trying to promote your own blog on top of someone else’s whose blog is not at all like the one you have. It is disrupting to read, inconsiderate and makes the original blog look cheap.

2.After deciding to look into a blog builder to start your new website, look at as many other blogs out there that you can and then create something else! Don’t copy someone else’s personal blog or business blog. Not only does that make your site less original, it’s similar to plagiarism. It makes you look tacky. Plus- that is the reason you went to that one site in the first place- because it was original.

3.Write something honest, unique and not scandalous. You can really get in trouble to the extent of jail if you write something considered slander. Freedom of speech is your constitutional right, but there are written laws that amend that right, not allowing you to write slander about another person if it is proven to not be true. If it is indeed true- well, that is an entirely different story.

4.Freshen your blog up a bit. After a couple weeks of the same content on your blog you should change it up. When you constantly update your blog- people will begin to notice, your blog is the one blog they can be sure to see new updates every time they go to it. As soon as your blog goes stale, people’s eyes will glaze over trying to find new content within your blog and get frustrated when there is nothing new. They may not likely return.

5.Be smart about your content. Research. Interview people- don’t make it all about you. Sometimes the most important blog you can write is about someone else who doesn’t have a voice. The pen is mightier than the sword- as they say. Use your voice to help out someone or an organization that doesn’t have the means.  By researching, you can educate the public. It doesn’t always need to be about the best ski slope or the latest fashion designer. Speak your voice about the destruction of a local habitat or your thoughts on ways to stop youth drug abuse.
