Software To Record Web Video
FREE THIRTY DAY TRIAL
Software to record web video is not that hard to find anymore, and it indicates just how popular online video has become, both from a recreational point of view as well as a business one.
I have tried a lot of software and found that most of what is available is good enough if all that you want is to get your funny viral videos (or any other for that matter) online in the shortest possible time.
I was also quite surprised to learn that you do not have to spend a lot of money for some of the available programmes, indeed even Windows now have a free programme in their ‘Windows Movie Maker’ which is more than up to the job.
My personal favourite way to do this however has a little twist to it. There is a programme available called Animoto which is one of the neatest little tools I have come across (and now use on a very regular basis). This is not necessarily for the budding Spielberg who is trying to make a ‘warts and all’ epic, rather for the online marketer who is just trying to get his message broadcast to as many video sites as possible.
How the programme works is that you upload a minimum of ten images into the online software. If you do not have 10 images relevant to what you are trying to promote then you can even use duplicate images as long as you give them unique names.

Once uploaded (which takes mere seconds) Animoto then offers you a whole range of royalty free music clips which it will embed into your video automatically (this is one of the coolest features in my opinion). When the programme goes to work it takes your chosen pictures and chops them up and puts them back together in a very artistic and professional way. Within a few minutes your still images are brought to life in animation (hence the name Animoto).
The process from start to finish can be finished within 10 minutes, and once complete you have the option of either downloading to your local pc, or uploading directly into your YouTube account.
I think this could be a superb alternative for anyone looking for software to record web video.
If you are not doing video marketing then you are missing out on some huge traffic!
