Now that search took me less than 2 minutes, and what I am faced with is the possibility of 18 plus 7 plus 5 FREE HITS to my website (a total of 30 a day or 900 A MONTH!) How? Easy, more important than the number of daily searches these terms get is the last number on each line which tells me how many pages are indexed on Google that are specifically TARGETED towards those search terms.
So for those three keyword search terms in total I am up against just TWELVE competitors – even the poorest optimised page in the world would hit the top of Google for those terms just by having them somewhere in the article itself.
Now, ask yourself – who would NOT like 900 FREE visits a month to their website? Well, this is what I am trying to teach you in this series of articles – keyword research and product selection – that – along with how to structure your page, or post or article in such a way as to be Google friendly. Now even the term EBAY RICHES SELLING CRAZY ITEMS is a term which I think I can rank for. With just 128,000 competitors it may take me a week, but I know that if I have a few articles all built around the term then those daily 139 visitors will be mine – and that’s over 4,000 hits a month!
Now what I want you to do is get into the member’s area and watch how I go through keyword selection using Wordtracker – look over my shoulder as I show you how to grab product related keywords which have literally ZERO competition.
You may ask yourself is it possible to make eBay riches selling crazy items, but the fact is (as you are quickly learning) you can use the internet for virtually anything you want as long as you know how to harness the power of Google.
In the next article I will show you how to structure your post to make sure you put a smile on Mr G’s face.
