Hey Chris!
Hope you had a cracking xmas and New Years!
Right ive watched every single one of your vids and i must say they are awesome. A real unique site you have here and i look forward to every video you post.
I have a 6 month action plan to relieve myself of full time work. Im pretty sure with some effort i can achieve this.
Before i found wealth foundation i had many ideas myself one of which was creating a simple site within hours that would make me a dollar a day. What sort of earning power would you expect each keyword specific site to make? What about adding into the mix sites built around higher paying adsense keywords? (providing the keywords meet the requirements).
Also once the site is built does it grow itself or would i have to add posts to the sites every week??
The power of this business model is only limited by the English vocabulary. A truly abundent idea. Again great site Chris, ill be posting my site(s) link for you to have a look soon.
Cheers
Hi Robin - thanks for the kind words - appreciated!
I will get straight to the point - your thoughts about higher paying keywords is PERFECT! There are so many videos I want to get up - and that is one of them…In case it takes me a week or so let me outline what I do here for you.
The subject we are talking about here is ADSENSE - (those Google ads which seem to appear everywhere). If you have Adsense on your site (next video to be uploaded) and somebody clicks on your ad then you make money - period! However the AMOUNT of money you make is in DIRECT proportion to the amount the client paid Google for his ad to BE on your page in the first place - and this is where the secret lies. If you build a site on GOLDFISH (example) then you can take it as read that people will not be paying a lot of money to Google to get clicks (remember pay per click is the OTHER side of the coin…these are the people who pay Google every time someone clicks on their ad…ON YOUR PAGE…However, if you build a site around a market which commands very high pay per click costs (insurance, medical terms etc) then the percentage you receive from those clicks is commensurate with the amount the advertiser is paying Google).
This is a long answer so I will show you what to do - Go and Google the term ‘keyword tool’ and at the top you should see THIS LINK. Now, enter a keyword (such as goldfish) and search Google’s own database. When the results come back go to the drop down box which allows you to show AVERAGE COST PER CLICK. This will show you ‘roughly’ how much you would need to pay Google on a PAY PER CLICK basis if you wanted your ad to appear in position one…
Now go back and change the keyword to LIFE INSURANCE and re-run the query. I have just done all of this for you and here are the results -
goldfish - £0.34 and it gets an average of 550,000 searches a month
life insurance - £9.23 and it gets an average 2,740,000 search a month
Now we do not know the exact percentage that Google pays in Adsense commissions but I am sure you would prefer a % of £9.23 as opposed to £0.23…
The secret then is to build NICHE blogs around keyword terms which have very little competition but have HUGE pay per click costs…Take http://www.dwiattorneysandlawyers.com - A PERFECT example…hope it help!

I have heard a lot about blogger blogs - what are your thoughts Chris?
Bolag it is a toss up between Blogger blogs and Wordpress. Blogger blogs can get indexed quicker by Google, but the flexibility of the Wordpress plug in system (for me anyway) puts Wordpress ahead of Blogger…
January 7th, 2009 3:50 pm
Hey cheers Chris.
Yes i definately agree, combining higher paying adsense keywords with low competition keywords which still get 300 + searches a month is the way to go. Building blogs specificley for this purpose increases the chances of that #1 spot. As the number of searches is low a #1 or 2 google spot i think would definately be needed to make any money out of this method.
I guess the downside is its all supported through this one wikio feed. Are your adsense ad’s high paying for your keywords?
How is http://www.dwiattorneysandlawyers.com doing? How much has it made so far? I see you are number 1 with your keywords through Wikio
Thanks for the support
Robin
Robin - http://www.dwiattorneysandlawyers.com is a high paying Adsense site BUT I have done nothing with it other than put it up…it has made around $183 - I was trying to prove a point. The CPC on those keywords is over $13.00 which is why I went for them.

ADSENSE
Hi Chris,
I received the impression from video 9 that a new and separate Adsense account is opened for each website. Is this correct or have I got it wrong?
Cheers,
Ed.
No Ed - you use the same Adsense ad for all of your sites - video will be up in 1 hour. Strictly speaking Google ’say’ that you can only have one account per individual - so if you want another (or more) you need to open new accounts with new identities (not saying i do that, by the way :))

Also what is the best way to research which industries pay the most for Adsense and….
Is there any reason why Wordpress is not suitable for marketing clickbank products? Dreamweaver seems like such a learning curve for me at the moment.
Ed - you can go into Google’s keyword tool and it will show you the COST PER CLICK of any keyword you are thinking of targeting - it is si simple it’s untrue. Your comment re. Wordpress? Not sure what you mean - Wordpress is LOVED by Google and is good for selling any product, including Wordpress. A word for those who are thinking of getting a HTML package - I have never used Dream-Weaver and have been told (as you are saying Ed) that it it is a little tricky to learn. Front Page is very easy - as is Nvu which is totally free.

Hi - How often do I need to post to be effective in the search engines?
Once a week will do fine when your blog is established. However, you can you an RSS feed to post articles automatically for you Corrie.
January 12th, 2009 10:26 pm
Is the amount the adsense ad pay’s determined by the exact word searched for on google or for the keyword content on your webpage?
For example ‘drug addiction’ and most of the keywords associated with it are high paying but for a low competition keyword (which im targeting) such as ‘prescription drug addiction in utah’ the cpc is extremely low.
Maybe im completely confusing myself here…
Rob - a good question very easily answered…target keywords which have a HIGH cpc…it is the cpc that you are paid a percentage of. Just build your blog around the EXACT keyword phrase(s) that are commanding the high costs.

Hi Chris, its hard to keep up but we are trying.
Anyway, a question. Dont know if you can help. I have my blog site up and running. Installed it just as you instructed. However, my site only shows up when i type it into the browser window without the http://www. infront? ie: If i put the http://www. infront, i get a blank screen. but without it the blog shows up live. Any advice would be highly appreciated.
PS: how long does it take to get indexed in Google?
regards
Crocozy
Indexing in Google with a Wordpress blog can happen within an hour and I am going to do a video to show you how to put your blog on steroids. If your blog is still not appearing then please let me have the exact site info and I will take a look for you - thanks.

hi again Chris,
sorry but i forgot to ask a question. How can i put affiliate banners on the left sidebar and the top of my blog. Do i need a widget?
thanks
Awesome - well done you! Yes use a txt widget and copy paste the URL of the banner you want to use. For those who are not up to this level of learning…video coming!

Hi Chris,
I’m a bit confused about tags. What does it mean when it says popular tags - do we use these as well as H1/H2 keywords, or do we just put our title and one other keyword as a tag?
Best regards, Johnny
Treat each part as individual to the others. Popular keyword tags are basically up to 20 keywords which you believe your client would use to find your product or service - each one seperated by a comma. However, your H1 and H2 keywords SHOULD be part of your 20 or so popular tags…clear as mud Johnny? lol - Joke, by the way…:)

Hi Chris. A couple of questions. Firstly you mention in Vid 1 that creating a blog is absolutely free. Would you not have had to pay for the domain name and hosting.
Secondly, I read an article today that claimed that google served higher paying adsense to blogger blogs than any other because google owns blogger. Have you noticed this? The author claimed to have on numerous occasions built identical blogs - 1 on blogger and the other not on blogger and the trend was always clear - blogger received higher paying clicks. What do you think?
Ed - when I said blogs are free they are - 100%. You can open a wordpress account at Wordpress and host your blog on THEIR servers - FREE. Same with Blogger and the other blog services. The only drawback is that your domain name will include wordpress in it…Not ideal, but some major bloggers do this as it is not practical for them purchase 100’s of individual domain names, one for each blog…
The theory on Blogger blogs makes perfect sense to me. I stated in an earlier post that Blogger and Wordpress were the 2 best and they both had their pros and cons. I would recommend staying with Wordpress though for many reasons that I have given before…Good to see you are doing some research on this stuff by the way, congrats!

I thought I would check out your dwiattorneysandlawyers.com website. The google adsense ads were not displayed to me. Is this because I am not a local to Thurston, Ocala or Mason County or have you removed the adsense?
Hi Ed - I just checked the site and the Adsense is there perfectly…

Hi Chris, another question. It is mentioned in Bloggng4 on Wordpress that during the setup a “reseller’ package should be selected. Were there some training vids made on reselling web hosting? I feel like I have missed something.
Hi Ed - I refer to a reseller account for those people who are using the eBay Dominator system and are selling on websites. If this is not the case then you do not need a reseller account. Howewer, if you ARE using the eBay Dominator system then you will find the relevant video in that module.

Brad Callens PPC Webspy. I was checking out this software today and remembered from one of your videos that you had this software installed (It looked like it). Do you think there is any value in this software or not really?
Do not pay for it Ed as you can get it free…yes I think it is a very good tool - let me know if you need it.

Hi Chris
I’ve spent hours watching all the vids and admit to having a scattergun approach.
However, I’m concentrating on blogs at the moment and I’ve followed all the videos (a few times) and now have a blog up and running.
I’ve made the same mistake as Crocozy in post 8 - I’ve changed the profile in wpadmin section to include http://www. but now I can’t get into the wpadmin section the as screen goes blank.
How can I access the dashboard again to change this mistake as I can’t edit my blog now.
You mentioned about sending links to each others sites - is this something we can all do together? to help each other along or would google’s spys catch on to it?
Thanks so much for all the info so far Chris - it really is top notch stuff.
best wishes and thanks Sue
Sorry for the slow reply Sue…please let me know if you have sorted this…As for the links - yes - as soon as you have placed a link to my site here using the keyword phrase MAKE MONEY ONLINE as your anchor text then let me know - I will then link back to you - and with a PR3 at the moment, it will do your sites a lot of good!

Hi Chris
Where are you mate? Having serious problems with accessing the wp-admin page on my blog…
not seen you around for coming up to a month now
Sue - sorry for the ‘incognito time’…I have been working on something 24/7 - I will tell you all more in about one hour from now!

Hi Chris,
A couple of questions that have me baffled:
First, the H1 and H2 section of wordpress says to add code to the header.php file in order for them to work. I made the change in notepad and uploaded the revised file to my site but no change. My H1 and H2 tags seem to not be saved somehow. Each time I update my post, they revert back to just Header 1 and 2.
Second, the SEO pack doesn’t seem to be updating on my site either. Even though wordpress shows I have content and keywords in there, the code on the site is as follows:
Looks empty to me!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Re-word this question…I started to answer it and then scratched my head…what are you trying to do exactly?
March 14th, 2009 2:41 pm
Hmmmm…code didn’t show up in last post. Here it is again, I hope:
“
”
Chris - no code mate…please tell me what you are trying to make work?
March 14th, 2009 2:43 pm
What the heck? Took out the HTML components….maybe it will display now?
meta name=”description” content=”"
meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,follow”
Chris - the code is here now but I need you to tell me what you are trying to do…
March 17th, 2009 11:52 pm
I’ll approach the above previous posts as two separate questions to cut down on the confusion (both mine and yours).
The H1 and H2 section of wordpress says to add code to the header.php file in order for them to work. I made the change in notepad and uploaded the revised file to my site but no change. My H1 and H2 tags seem to not be saved by wordpress somehow. Each time I update my post, they revert back to just “Header 1″ and “Header 2″. Is that the way it is supposed to work? It doesn’t seem so based on your videos. Shouldn’t the H1 and H2 tags be “remembered” in wordpress for the particular post? And did I follow the right procedure by adding the specified code to the header.php file and uploading it to my active site on hostgator? The code they say must be added is ?php do_action(’wp_insert_h1h2tags’); ?
March 18th, 2009 12:14 am
I’m trying to use the All-in-One SEO plugin. I add my title, description and keywords and then publish/update the post. Shouldn’t this SEO content be added somewhere in the code of my blog? When I view the HTML of my blog, I find a section which looks like this
!– all in one seo pack 1.4.7.4 [301,371] –
meta name=”description” content=”" /
meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,follow” /
!– /all in one seo pack –
Shouldn’t this section of the code have all the information (title, description, keywords) that I typed in through wordpress or am I just not understanding how it’s coding the information?
